Sapiens Hospital Sends Medical and Physiotherapy Team to Lead a Health Talk for Pernod Ricard Thailand Employees, Promoting Office Syndrome Prevention and Workplace Pain Management

Sapiens Hospital continues to promote preventive health in the workplace by sending Dr. Thitiya Ruampornpanu together with a team of specialist physiotherapists to serve as speakers and lead a Health Talk for employees of Pernod Ricard (Thailand) Co., Ltd.      The activity was organized through a collaboration between Sapiens Hospital and Pacific Prime. Employees of Pernod Ricard Thailand participated in both the educational session and hands-on activities, learning practical approaches to caring for their physical health amid modern working lifestyles that often involve prolonged periods of sitting in front of a computer.

Understanding Office Syndrome, a common health concern among office workers During the event, Dr. Thitiya Ruampornpanu and the physiotherapy team explained how prolonged sitting can affect the muscles, bones, and joints and may contribute to common problems such as neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain, and Office Syndrome among office workers.

The team also discussed everyday risk behaviors, including slouching, bending the neck while using a mobile phone, remaining in the same posture for extended periods, and lifting objects incorrectly, all of which may contribute to chronic pain and cumulative musculoskeletal strain over time.

Workshop on muscle stretching to help reduce work-related discomfort In addition to the educational session, Sapiens Hospital organized a practical workshop where participants could learn and practice directly with the physiotherapy team. The session focused on both Passive Stretching and Active Stretching techniques that can be incorporated into daily routines and during working hours.

Employees were also given the opportunity to consult healthcare professionals directly The activity included a Q&A Session, allowing employees to ask about common work-related health concerns, including neck pain, back pain, numbness in the arms or legs, and other musculoskeletal symptoms. Participants received practical guidance from the medical and physiotherapy team.
