Dr. Nattaya Udomsakdi of Sapiens Hospital attended the INS 2026 international scientific congress in Lisbon, Portugal to explore the latest innovations in Neuromodulation and modern pain management.
Sapiens Hospital, represented by Dr. Nattaya Udomsakdi, a hospital executive, participated in the global scientific congress, the “17th World Congress of the International Neuromodulation Society (INS 2026),” held from May 9–14, 2026, in Lisbon, Portugal.

The congress is an important international academic forum in the field of Neuromodulation, or “the therapeutic modulation of nervous system activity.” It brings together physicians, researchers, scientists, and healthcare professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge and explore the latest technologies and innovations in patient care, particularly in chronic pain management, neurological disorders, rehabilitation, and minimally invasive treatment.
The congress featured advances in modern medical technologies, including Spinal Cord Stimulation, Peripheral Nerve Stimulation, AI, and Digital Technology, which are increasingly being incorporated into treatment planning, as well as personalized medicine approaches that are becoming an important direction in modern healthcare.
Dr. Nattaya Udomsakdi said:
“Participating in this international scientific congress provides an important opportunity to update our knowledge of emerging technologies and treatment approaches from experts around the world. These insights can be applied to further develop the quality of treatment and patient care in Thailand, particularly in pain management and conditions involving the musculoskeletal and nervous systems, which are among Sapiens Hospital’s areas of clinical focus.”
Sapiens Hospital places importance on the continuous professional development of its medical personnel through participation in international scientific conferences, the study of modern medical technologies, and the development of collaborative networks with international medical organizations, with the aim of advancing its standards of patient care in line with international practices.
Participation in INS 2026 also reflects Sapiens Hospital’s vision of advancing modern pain management and rehabilitation services, with an emphasis on precision, patient safety, and minimally invasive treatment options when clinically appropriate, while supporting patients in their recovery and return to daily activities.
Sapiens Hospital believes that applying knowledge and medical innovations gained from international scientific forums to healthcare development in Thailand can contribute to advancing the quality of medical care and provide meaningful benefits for both Thai and international patients in the future.
